6 X-Men characters we don’t want to see in Marvel’s first X-Men movie

Marvel is set to meet with directors about its first X-Men movie and there are a few characters we’d love to see, but there are some we don’t want to see in the MCU’s first X-Men movie. 

Striking a deal with the Writers Guild meant one thing for comic book movie fans, more news, and news we got. Ever since the Fox/Disney merger a few years back, fans have anxiously waited on news about the X-Men. We’ve read and heard all the rumors about when they’d pop up and how.

No, we didn’t get that Storm cameo in Black Panther 2. And it was Miss Marvel who got the honor of being called the first mutant of the MCU, not Scarlet Witch. Speaking of our favorite sorceress. In Multiverse of Madness, she played the villain, and we got to witness the MCU and Fox’s X-Men crossover, with Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Professor X.

Tragically, it was about as disappointing as finding an empty water bottle in the desert. Scarlet Witch bodied Professor X like Disney bodies the box office. Reading between the lines, it was Disney taking a jab at Fox, showing just how powerful they are by comparison.

With the strike over, news about the X-Men coming to the MCU has once again been reported. According to Deadline, Disney is looking to vet writers and have a team in place with a plan by 2024. Whoever the writers are, they don’t need to look far for a plan, and there are a few X-Men we do not need to see anytime soon.
