4. Magneto

This is a tough one, considering how iconic Magneto is. What will the X-Men do if they don’t have Magneto? If you watched the Fox franchise, make him a part of it. Yes, we got a heavy dose of Magneto in the Fox franchise, played amazingly by the great Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender.

In the original trilogy, fans got a chance to see Magneto as the big bad. He opposed his old friend as they fought over Rogue. Yes, it was very comic-accurate in terms of the story, but it missed out on so many things. We got a heavy dose of Magneto in the initial trilogy as the main antagonist. There was even a brief team-up with the X-Men.

Days of Future Past gave us even more Magneto, a younger version, as they explored his relationship with Charles Xavier. We once again saw him as both a friend and their enemy.

While Magneto does play a major role in the X-Men, the MCU would be better off not featuring the manipulator of metal in the first film. Magneto deserves an introduction and a film that allows him to shine as the big bad, but the first film is a bit of a waste.
