10. Young Jedi Adventurers

Young Jedi Adventures is intergalactic pre-school vibes personified. The show ventures into the uncharted waters of the High Republic era, but it kind of failed to make a splash worth noticing. With such a vast universe to explore, it’s a tad disappointing that they chose to just give us cute little Jedi toddlers running around with lightsabers. The sense of wonder is there, but it’s similar to that feeling you get when you’re handed a chocolate chip cookie, only to bite into it and realize it’s oatmeal raisin.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I adore a good fun series (and oatmeal raisin cookies as well), but when it’s set in the rich tapestry of Star Wars, I kind of expect… well, a bit more. While Young Jedi Adventures might be the perfect watch for those wanting a sweet bedtime story in the realm of the Star Wars lore, it falls short for anyone thirsting for actual lore or any sort of pivotal plot points leading to the future of the franchise.

To put it simply, if you’re expecting to go deep into the Star Wars universe, this show ain’t it.

9. Forces of Destiny

I adore the universe that is Star Wars as much as the next Wookiee-hugger, but Forces of Destiny wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for. While it’s genuinely heartwarming to see our favorite leading ladies of the galaxy getting their much-deserved limelight, the show left you craving for more instead of delivering it.

With each story being as brief as Yoda’s height (and hey, there’s nothing wrong with being short), it felt like we were zipping through the galaxy at light-speed, missing out on the juicier details of these untold adventures.

The tidbits about Ahsoka’s dual lightsabers and Rey’s Jedi training are fun and entertaining, but if you’re trying to get the bigger picture of the Star Wars epic? Well, this might not be your main show to watch. Cute? Oh, absolutely! Filling? Eh, not so much. Let’s just say you won’t be left singing praises to the high heavens of Naboo.
