5. Timothée Chalamet

Timothée Chalamet would be the perfect casting for a younger Bruce Wayne/Batman. If DC is looking for a massive star to launch itself into the next generation of fans, Chalamet is the guy. The Dune star could bring something fresh and bright to the role that we haven’t seen in decades. The last few Batmen have played the role so dark and brooding. I think we could expect Willy Wonka himself to bring some light and levity to Batman.

Thanks to some fan art from @spdrmnkyxxiii, we have an excellent look at what Chalamet could look like as Batman. You’ll have to click the link to see Chalamet as Batman, but he looks great. Based on the fan art, I could totally picture Chalamet as Batman and helping the movies gross a bazillion dollars.

There’s already been a lot of chatter about Chalamet joining the DCEU as Robin. There was some interest in playing the role way back in 2019, but that’s a long time ago now. Chalamet’s star power and the spotlight on him has grown dramatically. This match just seems too perfect. Like I said, he would be the perfect casting as a younger Bruce Wayne/Batman. Tell me I’m wrong!

I think this is my favorite pick for the next Bruce Wayne. We’ve seen the dark and brooding Batman. We’ve seen the older Batman. I think sometime in the next few years, we’ll see a younger take on Batman, even if it isn’t in The Brave and the Bold.
