Loki season 2 episode 5 release date: When does the next episode come out?

Loki season 2 has been gripping audiences around the world as it heads into its second half. Here’s when you can expect the penultimate episode to arrive. 

The third episode of Loki season 2 was the best of the season. As the season reached its halfway point, there was fighting, magic, and great acting. It also debuted the variant of Kang named Victor Timely. He’s the same one that was seen during the end-credit scene of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. More importantly, viewers learned that Ravonna and Miss. Minutes gave him a Time Variance Authority handbook. From there, he learned how to create a temporal loom. The temporal loom happens to be the key to saving the TVA. Thankfully, Loki and Mobius talk Sylvie into letting them have him. Otherwise, all hope may have been lost.

This writer believes that Victor Timely is He Who Remains before he became powerful. For one, their speech patterns are similar. It would make sense that he’d understand Loki and Sylvie. He’s dealt with them before. Since everyone in the TVA has access to time travel, this is possible.

More importantly, it would explain Miss Minutes’ reaction to him. She wasn’t just obsessed with him. Miss Minutes kept referring to Timely as He Who Remains or some variation of that. This is more than her need to be with him. She’s trying to talk him into giving her a body before he gains power.

Maybe Victor Timely’s future is the secret that Miss Minutes will tell Ravonna. If that’s the case, would they be able to stop him from obtaining power, or did their involvement make it happen? With time travel being in play, both options are possible.

When does Loki season 2 episode 5 come out?

Loki season 2 episode 5 will arrive on Disney Plus next Thursday, November 2, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, 8:00 p.m. CT, and 7:00 p.m. MT. The season 2 finale will then be released in that same time slot the week after that.

Loki made history as Marvel Studios’ first original show to air in primetime. Its the second overall show on Disney Plus to do that as Star Wars’ Ahsoka was the first to do it earlier this summer. It was clearly a success as the streaming service has decided to do the same thing with Loki.

This coming episode is the penultimate episode of season 2. The future of Loki beyond its finale is unclear right now, so episode 5 could very well be the penultimate episode of the series, depending on what Marvel Studios opts to do with the character next. Nevertheless, with the future of the Time Variance Authority, Loki and our beloved characters, and all of time in jeopardy, you can bet that the season’s final two episodes have the potential to be game-changers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
