The Flash has been a TV spectacle for a decade but which of its nine memorable seasons raced past the finish line, and which ones never quite got there. 

It has almost been a decade since Central City CSI Barry Allen was struck by lightning in his lab at CCPD on that fateful night, but in the years that have followed, he has gone on to become one of the greatest heroes that the small screen has ever seen. Yes, The Flash first burst onto screens in 2014, breaking ratings records for The CW and quickly becoming the network’s biggest hit ever. To say it’s one of the greatest comic book TV shows of all time would be an understatement.

Over the years, the Scarlet Speedster and his lovable team of heroes on Team Flash have battled evil speedsters, telepathic gorillas and some very angry Forces of Nature, but no battle is too great for Central City’s finest. And we have the seasons to prove it!

The show has surpassed its predecessor Arrow to become the longest-running Arrowverse show yet. Sadly, the show came to an end shortly after hitting that milestone as its ninth and final season aired on TV screens throughout the first half of 2023. Needless to say it was the end of a TV era, as the series was the last remaining linear Arrowverse show, meaning that the iconic shared universe that started the superhero TV renaissance we’re currently living in has come to an end.
