4. Deathstroke

Deathstroke, one of DC Comics’ coolest villains, boasts a rich history in the comics. With his extraordinary skills and intellect, he’s been a tormentor of heroes.

In the casting department, Joe Manganiello was spot-on. He exudes charisma and embodies the rugged look that screams Deathstroke, or Slade Wilson. Fans were clamoring for more of this deadly assassin from DC Comics.

But alas, the DCEU left us wanting. Deathstroke was reduced to a mere post-credits cameo and that much-anticipated Batman showdown? It disappeared like a mirage in the desert.

It’s a real shame and, quite frankly, disrespectful. Originally a Teen Titans nemesis, he’s grown into a formidable adversary for iconic characters like Batman and Green Arrow. The depth and moral complexity of his character set him apart.

The DCEU had a golden opportunity with Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke, but it was like dangling a carrot without letting us take a bite. Fans are left wondering what might have been, and in all honesty, Deathstroke deserved better. Let’s hope that James Gunn and Peter Safran do right by Deathstroke, perhaps with a solo movie — just saying.
