14. Lilo, Stitch, and Nani

"“Ohana means family, and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten.” -Lilo"

While people usually think of just Lilo and Stitch, Nani has to be grouped in with them. The trio revolutionized what family meant in Disney.

Like most projects within this company, the kids were stuck without their parents. In this story, Nani is the parental figure. She could be harsh, but she was always loving. Considering the antics that Lilo and Stitch got into, it was needed.

Before Frozen came around, the phrase, “Ohana means family, and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten” was the epitome of what family meant. The three of them never abandoned each other because they knew what that felt like. On top of that, they always kept their doors open to others so they wouldn’t be alone.

13. Aladdin

"“Hey, I’m a street rat, remember? I’ll improvise.” -Aladdin"

The animated Aladdin was flawless in everything he was in. All three movies and the animated series highlighted the charisma and skilled improviser that made him popular. He was also funny, had a quick wit, and someone that people rooted for. Unlike Drake, Aladdin started from the bottom and rose to the top.

Let’s forget anything that happened in the live-action remake. That was everything Aladdin wasn’t. He wasn’t charming and lacked the confidence that people loved. Thankfully, it was only one project. Everything else Aladdin did outshines whatever was going on in the remake.
