Season 7, episode 6, used an all-seeing, cosmic, sentient rock called The Observer to set up the clips. Rick wanted to prove Morty was lying about his adventure stamps. As always, things went sideways. Rick and Morty end up on trial for accidentally killing The Observer. The problem is the jury, judge, and lawyers are all Observers.

Summer has been working for Rick for a while. Mostly because she has the stomach to clean up Rick’s messes and (according to the clip above) chop up bugs like steak. In season 6 episode 1 (“Solaricks”), viewers see that Rick pays her in abilities. The upcoming episode could show what Summer does when she gets compensated. It also looks like Morty may be jealous of what his sister gets for doing what Rick asks.
