8 truly awesome TV shows to watch before the end of 2023

American Born Chinese is one of the most underrated shows of 2023. I binge-watched the series when it was released on Disney+ on March 24, 2023, and it’s so good! I couldn’t believe how exciting and addicting this story could be, but it was well worth my time.
American Born Chinese is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang. It draws inspiration from Journey to the West. In the series, Jin Wang (Ben Wang), a high schooler, helps Wei-Chin (Jimmy Liu), who isthe son of the Monkey King and who has traveled this world, try to find the mythical Fourth Scroll.
We still haven’t heard about American Born Chinese season 2 yet. Similar to I’m a Virgo, it was released during the writers’ strike, so I’m hopeful that because it hasn’t been canceled yet, there’s still a chance we could see a second season of the series in 2024 and beyond.
