Gen V is a spinoff of Amazon’s The Boys, which is one of the streamer’s best and most popular shows. Gen V premiered on Prime Video in September. While The Boys follows the adventures of Butcher and his ragtag team trying to take down Vought and its Supes, Gen V follows a group of young Supes at Godolkin University, a college specifically for those with powers.

In the series, Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) and her friends try to get to the bottom of a larger mystery at Godolkin, one that has grave consequences for the world beyond.

I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t watched, but let’s just say a few friendly (or not!) faces show up in Gen V. If you like The Boys or are going to be watching The Boys season 4, you have to watch Gen V. It’s so good.

Unlike the shows mentioned so far, Gen V is renewed for season 2! And, there are some pretty big implications for The Boys season 4, which is coming in 2024. If you haven’t caught up with Gen V, you definitely need to by the end of the year!
