Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler might just be the most underrated superstar in WWE history. He’s an amazing athlete who has produced some remarkable matches throughout his career with the company, and was one of the most popular stars in 2014 when he became the sole survivor in the Survivor Series match against The Authority (and won).

Unfortunately, he was constantly misused over the years too, with the creative team missing multiple opportunities to make him one of the top stars of the company – and considering the level of talent he possessed, and the caliber of matches he could produce, that is a huge shame.

While we’ve grown accustomed to seeing Dolph only little and often in recent years, his time at the company has unfortunately come to an end, as WWE released him in September of this year. That one came as a surprise to fans, because in spite of how underused he had been, Dolph is a WWE legend and veteran, having been with the company for 19 years. The fact that he had been released by them was shocking.

As his theme song says, he came to show the world – and he did. We just wish he had been appreciated more. Nevertheless, we hope he continues to go from strength to strength in 2024 and beyond.
