Warning: This post contains spoilers for episodes one through seven of VisionQuest.
It's nearly time for the lights to dim out and the stage curtains to close. Over the past month, audiences have watched seven different episodes of VisionQuest filled with mystery, intrigue, and pretty amazing dialogue. However, not only is the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe show coming to an end soon, but we're also about to watch the culmination of the WandaVision trilogy as a whole. And before the credits roll on the finale, there are many lingering questions that need to be answered.
The WandaVision saga has been known for its secrecy and unexpected twists and turns. As such, it doesn't come as a surprise that VisionQuest is also trying to keep the mystery going until the very end. Granted, there's a possibility that a handful of storylines won't be wrapped up in Episode 8, so they can be followed up in projects like Avengers: Doomsday. That being said, there are four specific questions that need to be answered before the latest Disney+ show comes to an end.

1. Who is The Client?
Technically, we finally learned who The Client is during the events of VisionQuest Episode 7. After all, this mysterious character pulling the strings from the shadows turned out to be none other than Ultron's human avatar. But then again, we don't even know his real name.
There have been multiple theories about The Client's identity, with the most accepted one being that he is Phineas Horton's grandson and that he used his grandfather's investigation to create the first sentient AI in the MCU alongside Jo Carrington. That being said, there isn't a concrete answer just yet, and it's up to the VisionQuest finale to finally tell us more about the puppet master who has been controlling everything from the very beginning.

2. What does The Client want?
Even after VisionQuest explains who The Client is, there's another question related to the infamous villain that's equally important: What does he want? All this time, he's been trying to get hold of the Vision and even agreed to give him "his heart" on the condition that the hero must turn himself in. Likewise, he has now captured Jocasta, so the question then becomes, what exactly does The Client want?
Could The Client want to transfer his own consciousness to Vision's body, just as Jo Carrington's consciousness now lives on in Jocasta? If The Client is truly Phineas Horton's grandson, could he be trying to destroy his grandfather's work once and for all, especially given how much AI development has hurt his family? Or could he simply want Jocasta's nanobots to wreak havoc across the MCU? Fortunately, the VisionQuest finale will finally give us some much-needed answers.

3. Is F.R.I.D.A.Y. alive?
VisionQuest Episode 7 ended on a cliffhanger—not only because we finally saw The Client in the flesh for the first time in the series, but because two impactful deaths seemingly took place in the span of just a few seconds. First, one of The Client's henchmen fired a rocket launcher at Paladin's vehicle, potentially killing the hunter-for-hire. Moreover, Ultron pushed F.R.I.D.A.Y. out of the second level of Jo Carrington's apartment, and viewers saw her code seemingly dissipate on impact.
Now, it's worth pointing out that Marvel itself already revealed Paladin's fate in a trailer promoting the VisionQuest finale. But things are a bit more complicated when it comes to F.R.I.D.A.Y. After all, there's a case to be made that Ultron didn't kill her but merely pushed her out of Jocasta's mindscape to save her. Then again, J.A.R.V.I.S. was the proof that AIs can die, and there's always a chance that a similar scenario was in store here. Hopefully, all speculation will be put to rest with the release of VisionQuest episode 8.

4. Where is Wiccan?
The WandaVision saga began with the creation of a happy yet fictional family. Using her powers, the Scarlet Witch brought Vision back to life inside the Hex and willed two kids into existence: Wiccan and Speed. Eventually, the Hex was undone, but little did Wanda know her family would live on.
Unfortunately, the Scarlet Witch died during the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so it's unlikely that she will make a special appearance in the finale of VisionQuest. That being said, there's no reason for Wiccan to miss out on the action, especially since he embarked on a quest to find his missing brother in the finale of Agatha All Along.
Even if Vision, Speed, and Wiccan don't come together in the finale, the show must sow the seeds for their eventual reunion. After all, this would be one of the only fitting endings for the WandaVision trilogy, and it will be interesting to see how it all pans out.
The final episode of VisionQuest will be released on Nov. 10, 2026.
