In an interview with creator Robert Kirkman, he discussed what viewers should expect from the upcoming fourth season. In the interview, he dropped a few hints about the most powerful Viltrumite.

"Thragg is cast and will be in Season 4. "I will say that Season 4 has more Viltrumite stuff that you might be wanting."

Will Thragg's appearance on the animated show be like Conquest's (voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan)? Conquest made a cameo appearance in the penultimate episode, "What Have I Done?," before becoming the central character during the third season finale. "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up."

Who might Kirkman, who is also the executive producer of the show, cast as Thragg? For example, actor Steven Yeun, who voices Mark Grayson/Invincible, played Glenn in the undead drama.
