Fans of Smallville are in for a blast as two of its biggest stars are about to stage a CBS reunion!

It’s been 25 years since Smallville premiered, yet fans still love this take on the Superman mythos. Many of its stars have since gone on to bigger and better things across television and pretty soon, the on-screen Oliver Queen and Lois Lane are in for a reunion, and they’re bringing a famous Arrow star with them!

Per US Weekly, the March 22nd episode of CBS' Tracker, starring Justin Hartley, will guest star Erica Durance. Hartley had played Oliver Queen, aka the Green Arrow, on Smallville, with the classic motif of millionaire Oliver posing as the costumed archer. He would have a long relationship with Durance’s reporter Lois Lane.

In a weird additional casting irony, the episode co-stars David Ramsey, who played John Diggle on the CW’s Arrow, meaning we’re going to see him playing opposite a different Oliver Queen. That fun casting mix is going to spotlight this episode.

The Disciple
“The Disciple” – A new lead in Colter’s white whale case, the disappearance of Gina Picket, brings him and retired cop Keaton back together to track down a serial killer, on the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, Feb. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+(live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. For those who haven’t seen it, Tracker premiered on CBS in 2023 and quickly became a major hit. Justin Hartley plays Colter Shaw, raised by his survivalist father in the woods to learn a variety of skills. Colter travels across the country as a freelance “hunter” of anything from items to other people.

Colter is aided by a few figures, notably lawyer Reenie (Fiona Rene) and hacker Randy (Chris Lee). There are also recurring characters, such as Sofia Pernas (Hartley’s real-life wife) as rival hunter Billie and Jensen Ackles as Colter’s estranged brother Russell.

The series is a huge hit with audiences loving Colter’s single-minded adventures as well as searching for secrets of his past. Durance should fit well into this.

Per the episode description, Durance will play Laura, a stuntwoman seeking Colter’s help after her partner vanishes from a film set. Ramsey appears as her husband. It’s likely that Colter discovers the pair are hiding things and the vanishing is more complicated than he expected.

Besides Tracker, Hartley became more famous for his lead role in the NBC hit drama This Is Us. Durance, meanwhile, has been pretty busy in TV with roles in the medical drama Saving Hope, Alura on Supergirl and a mainstay of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies. She also reprised her Lois role for the Arrowverse "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event.

No doubt, the episode will have an in-joke or two about Hartley and Durance’s past connection so any fan of Smallville will want to check out Lois and Oliver reconnecting on Tracker!

Tracker returns Sunday, March 1 at 9/8c on CBS. Smallville streaming on Hulu.
