Marvel fans are on tenterhooks for any major updates from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let's be honest, that statement could describe Marvel fans at any point in time over the past 17 years, but there is a specific reason why now is such a major occasion. The MCU is currently hard at work on the Multiverse Saga's final chapter, preparing the grand finale double act of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

But those aren't the only major aspects of Marvel's calendar right now, as the studio is currently working on the second seasons of Daredevil: Born Again, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and X-Men '97 alongside some other long-awaited projects that fans are eager to see. Yep, it's a thrilling time to be a fan of the MCU.

What's even more thrilling is that we now know when we will get some major updates about these heavily-anticipated titles.

Marvel Studios coming to NYCC with TV and Animation Panel

Marvel Studios is returning to the Comic-Con stage, but this time it's in New York. That's right, the studio will have a presence at NYCC 2025 for the Up Next From Marvel Television and Animation panel. The panel will take place on Saturday, October 11, at 1:30 pm on the Empire Stage.

Marvel's Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation Brad Winderbaum will likely be present to unveil some previews for the studio's upcoming slate of Disney Plus shows. Although there isn't any information about who will be attending yet, the panel does tease special guests and "a look behind the scenes at Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ shows".

As for what shows we can expect to be featured, the priorities on the live-action front will likely be Wonder Man, which premieres in December, and Daredevil: Born Again season 2, which premieres in March 2026, so don't be surprised if you see stars from either of those projects on the stage. Moreover, Vision Quest is also coming out at some point next year, so there is a chance that the studio might unveil a behind-the-scenes sneak peek for that one. But we're probably much too far away for a trailer (or even appearance from star Paul Bettany) at this point.

On the animated side of things, we can probably anticipate new looks at Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and X-Men '97, both of which return for second seasons next year. The latter in particular is highly-anticipated as it has been a near-two-year wait for new episodes. To say that fans are excited would be an understatement.

A Marvel Studios panel at NYCC is a pleasant surprise to say the least. The studio often attends San Diego Comic-Con, bringing the house down with an annual Hall H panel on Saturday night, but it opted against going this year due to the fact that it has no major movie releases coming until next summer's Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Fans hoped that we might still have gotten a Marvel TV panel due to the upcoming shows, but it was clear that the studio was waiting for NYCC to promote those shows closer to the time.

Needless to say, Marvel knows how to surprise people and this NYCC panel will no doubt be another one of those examples. Heck, just the announcement of the panel itself is enough to surprise us; we can't wait for the announcements that will come from it.

While this will be the only MCU-focused panel at NYCC, it won't be the only Marvel one, as it was also announced that there will be reunion panels for X-Men: Days of Future Past and Agents of SHIELD.
