It's been a busy week for movie studios. All through the week, the biggest studios in the entertainment industry have been taking to the stage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas to present first looks, trailers, casting news, and release updates connected to their biggest movies coming in 2026 and beyond as part of the annual CinemaCon event.
The annual CinemaCon event is a time when the biggest movie studios present their upcoming movie slates to cinema owners, exhibitors, studio executives, and industry vendors. The event always features exciting new reveals, and that has indeed been the case again this year. Already this week we've seen new Spider-Man: Brand New Day posters; first-look photos from Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse; received production updates for Superman: Man of Tomorrow; gotten exciting casting news for the next Lord of the Rings film; and received confirmation that a Game of Thrones movie is officially on the Warner Bros. slate.
CinemaCon comes to an end on April 16, and the event has certainly saved the best for last. That's because the event will close out with Disney taking to the stage for its Walt Disney Studios presentation highlighting its upcoming releases. Disney is expected to go big with its presentation, presenting new footage and updates for its biggest studios including Lucasfilm and Marvel, creating an event fans won't want to miss!
Disney CinemaCon presentation start time
As CinemaCon takes place in Las Vegas, all of the presentations happen on Pacific Time. This has led to some late nights for fans not located on the West Coast, as many of the studio presentations have taken place late in the day. Thankfully, Walt Disney Studios will be hosting its panel early in the day which means we won't have to stay glued to social media late in the evening waiting for updates!
The Walt Disney Studios CinemaCon presentation will begin at 2:30 p.m. PT, meaning that it will take place late in the afternoon for fans on the East Coast in the United States and in several key regions, including Brazil. This also means that fans in select international regions will be able to keep updated on the presentation's updates late in the evening, while others can begin their day in the morning by following along with updates.

What to expect from Disney's CinemaCon presentation
The biggest expectation heading into the Walt Disney Studios CinemaCon presentation is that we will be getting a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. This theory makes perfect sense, as we know Marvel will present during the panel, and Doomsday is the studio's sole release on the calendar this year.
It is expected that rather than showing clips from the film, Marvel Studios will debut the first official trailer for those in attendance. The biggest question is whether they'll also release the trailer online timed to its CinemaCon debut. This seems like the most likely route Marvel will take, as there is no point debuting the trailer at CinemaCon and not releasing it online when they know every reporter in the room will be dropping updates about the contents of the footage.
Considering that the Avengers: Doomsday is Disney's biggest release on the calendar, we imagine that Marvel will close out the Walt Disney Studios presentation. This means fans will likely be waiting until the final 30 minutes of the presentation for the trailer to arrive, if Marvel indeed brings the trailer to debut at the event.
In addition to Marvel, we'll also hear from several other brands from the studio, including Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures.
On the Lucasfilm front, fans should expect Disney to use its time to promote The Mandalorian and Grogu. We might get a few new images from the film, and new footage will likely be shown during the presentation as Disney looks to promote this summer's release.
We'll also likely see updates from Toy Story 5 and The Devil Wears Prada as well as some teases of some of the other movies in development from the studios for 2026 and also in 2027.
