The Devil of Hell's Kitchen is back! Matt Murdock donned his horns again for another intense showdown in the streets of New York for Disney Plus' long-awaited Daredevil: Born Again. The sequel series to the Netflix show (which ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2018, and launched multiple spinoffs) has premiered on Disney Plus to rave reactions from fans and critics.

The premiere was a major one for the Daredevil continuity, bringing back multiple beloved characters from the original series and introducing plenty of new ones too (all while officially tying it to the Marvel Cinematic Universe). But even though a lot has changed in the six years that Matt, Foggy, and Karen have been off our screens, there is one similarity: Wilson Fisk is becoming a thorn in their sides. And after his mayoral campaign saw the crook elected, Daredevil is needed more than ever.

The series debuted with a double episode premiere, but those two episodes have likely left you in need of the third. Here's when you can tune into it.

Daredevil: Born Again episode 3 release date and time

The third episode of Daredevil: Born Again will be released on Disney Plus next Wednesday, March 11, at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. CT. Yes, the show follows a weekly release format, so you can expect new episodes in the same timeslot going forward. There is, however, one big difference from the premiere, and that is that the series will not be dropping two episodes this coming week, but one.

The show adopts something of an unusual release schedule. It generally takes on the weekly release format after its two-episode premiere, but it features a twist midway through, dropping two more episodes (episodes 5 and 6) on its fourth week before returning to the weekly single-episode release format for the remaining three weeks.

It's not unusual for Marvel shows to release two episodes for its premieres. Heck, Agatha All Along had a double bill for the week of its premiere and finale; but the double episode in the middle of its run is somewhat unexpected, leaving fans wondering if the show will have a major cliffhanger after episode 5.

Irrespective of whether Daredevil: Born Again releases one or two episodes, you can bet audiences will be tuning in, for the series has already received rave reviews from fans and critics, and there is no doubt that it will only get better from here on out.
