After nearly a year-long wait, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is finally upon us. The first season of the show was a big success story for Disney Plus last year, successfully reviving the world of the beloved Netflix series. And that first season also ended with Wilson Fisk being more evil than ever before. How is that possible? Easy, by kidnapping people, creating a corrupt police unit called the Anti-Vigilante, and being an absolute tyrannical ruler of New York. As you can see, Fisk is more crooked now than when he was the Kingpin of crime.
Because of Wilson Fisk’s corruption, Daredevil seems to be taking a more proactive approach to protecting his city, and with more help than he’s ever had. However, Matt Murdock admits that, ever since Foggy died, he’s allowed a darkness inside of him.
Could this lead to Daredevil becoming like he was in Marvel Comics' Shadowland? We'll have to wait and see. Here’s how you can watch the season premiere to find out. After everything that had previously happened, it’s a wonderful thing that fans didn’t have to wait long for season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again.

What to expect in Daredevil: Born Again season 2 episode 1
Viewers will see a darker side of both Daredevil and Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. Marvel Comics fans know that the Man Without Fear has often succumbed to anger when things have gotten bleak. It isn’t something he’s proud of, but it’s a part of him that he can’t overcome. And, from the previews for the upcoming season, people who only know Matt from the show will understand that even the Netflix Daredevil was light compared to what he’s truly capable of.
Second, the lengths of Wilson Fisk’s crookedness will reach new heights. It's been a while since we've seen him, and there's no way he's slowed down. Plus, he doesn’t have anyone within New York’s government to oppose him, and his inner circle is just as bad.
Among the people on Fisk's team is the odious Daniel Blake, who I think will make an impact in the season 2 premiere of Daredevil: Born Again. He seems like Fisk’s protégé and he certainly takes that role seriously. But just how far is he willing to go to prove his loyalty to the Kingpin? We're about to find out.
