It's just a matter of days before audiences join Matt Murdock on his mission to overthrow the Kingpin of crime as New York's mayor. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is just around the corner, and expectations are at an all-time high. While the first season is among the best Marvel Disney+ series ever created, it didn't quite reach the height set by its Netflix predecessor. One of the main problems is that two different creative teams worked on the previous batch of episodes, and each one had a different vision of what the series should be. However, things will be different this time around.
It's unanimously agreed that episodes 1, 8, and 9 are some of the best that Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 has to offer. Interestingly, these specific episodes in particular were made from the ground up by the show's new creative team, without using leftover material filmed by their predecessors. While that only makes us more hopeful about Season 2, it also raises a big, new question: Will the new team make a major change to the episode runtimes? Well, we finally have an answer.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 episode runtimes reportedly revealed
One year ago, scooper Cryptic HD QUALITY accurately revealed the runtimes of every episode in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1. Now, they are looking to repeat history with the MCU's upcoming release. According to a new report by the same source, these are the episode runtimes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2:
- Episode 1 - 51 minutes
- Episode 2 - 46 minutes
- Episode 3 - 47 minutes
- Episode 4 - 51 minutes
- Episode 5 - 50 minutes
- Episode 6 - 49 minutes
- Episode 7 - 44 minutes
- Episode 8 - 51 minutes
It's important to note that the runtimes above include credits, which means we should subtract an additional two to three minutes from each episode to get a better idea of their true, raw footage.
There are two key points to note here: First and foremost, Season 2 averages a length of nearly 49 minutes per episode, which is slightly higher than the 47-minute average of Season 1. While there isn't that much of a difference at first sight, runtimes are more constant this time around. After all, the longest episode in Season 1 clocked at 58 minutes, and the shortest had a duration of 39 minutes, meaning there's a striking difference of 19 minutes between the two. On the other hand, there's just a difference of 7 minutes between the longest and shortest episodes of Season 2.
Unfortunately, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will be the shortest Season out of the five released so far, including the original Netflix series. While Born Again Season 1 had a lower minutes-per-episode average, it had nine episodes total, as opposed to the eight that will be featured in Season 2. Besides, the original Netflix series had a consistent 13-episodes per season across all three of its seasons.
Quantity does not translate to quality, so it can also be a sign of relief that Marvel isn't striving to make the longest Daredevil season ever, but the best one so far. After all, early reviews are saying that the upcoming season is the best out of any Marvel Disney+ show, and it might just reach the same heights set by the Netflix adaptation before it. All things considered, there are a lot of reasons to be excited about the Man Without Fear's upcoming adventure, and we can't wait to see how it all pans out.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will be released on March 24, 2026, on Disney+.
