Superhero fans worldwide had to patiently wait for three years for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen to return to the screen after the cancellation of his Netflix series. Fortunately, Matt Murdock hasn't taken a break since joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he doesn't intend to stop anytime soon. After just a little over one year since the release of Daredevil: Born Again back in 2025, we finally have a new season that is looking to top its predecessor in every way possible. That's right, the future couldn't look any brighter.
There was a bit of confusion about the release strategy of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Given that Wonder Man dropped all of its episodes at once, fans speculated that a similar scenario could apply to the Man Without Fear's ongoing adventure. An official press release only reinforced that idea by not listing a weekly episodic release. To make matters more confusing, it was later confirmed that we would indeed get one episode a week, with a report claiming that the first two episodes would drop at once on March 24. However, the original source quickly backtracked on that information.
After many questions and doubts, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 had just a one-episode premiere. So, we have to ask the question: When is Episode 2 truly releasing?
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 episodes 2 and 3 will be released next week
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 episode 2, will stream on Disney Plus on Tuesday, March 31, at 9 pm ET, 6 pm PT, 7 pm MT, and 8 pm CT. The episode, titled "Shoot the Moon", has a reported runtime of 46 minutes, which would make it slightly shorter than its predecessor, but it will have the benefit of having to go through less setup.
In an interesting twist of events, we'll also see the release of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 3 next week, which is titled "The Scales & the Sword". It will release at the same time as Episode 2, allowing us to binge-watch them both.

Superhero fans will then get a single new episode of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 every week from next week onwards, with eight episodes in total coming our way. That means the season's finale will premiere on May 5, 2026.
Interestingly, the Punisher: One Last Kill Disney+ special will release just one week after the finale of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. So, the street-level MCU party will keep going even after Matt Murdock's ongoing adventure is over (with the unfortunate side effect that Frank Castle won't be in Born Again Season 2).
Early reactions for Daredevil: Born Again indicate that the latter half of the second season rivals the heights reached by the Netflix series before it. However, that means the first four episodes are slower-paced in comparison. That's not to say the opening episode wasn't great on its own, but it definitely sets the scene for even better things to come.
Many questions remain unanswered about the future of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Despite the show's actors saying otherwise, fans still hold onto hope that Foggy Nelson could make a surprise comeback towards the latter half of the season. Furthermore, it will be interesting to discover if the reports of Luke Cage and Iron Fist appearing in the finale will come to be.
With Wilson Fisk currently reigning over New York City as a whole, no one is truly safe. Matt Murdock and Karen Page went undercover, and now they intend to cut off the head of the snake. However, there's only one way to find out whether they will be successful and who else will join them on this dangerous crusade.
