There's a bloody war waging in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A hero claiming to be the devil is doing everything in his power to keep New York's citizens safe, while the devil himself, disguised as an angel, is running the city into the ground. Audiences worldwide now find themselves in the middle of an intricate chess match courtesy of Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and there's no telling what may happen next.
The first half of the season has come and gone, leaving us with plenty of exciting and memorable moments (especially that jaw-dropping one-take fight scene featuring Matt Murdock and Jacques Duquesne). Although a lot has unfolded in the first four episodes released so far, it seems the best is yet to come. Nearly all Daredevil seasons—including the ones from the Netflix show—are known for starting things off slowly and building up towards an explosive grand finale. Fortunately, it seems that's bound to be the case yet again.

The second half of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 starts next week, and it is deemed the best part of the show
Daredevil: Born Again season 2, episode 5, titled "The Grand Design," will arrive on Disney+ on Tuesday, April 14, at 9 pm ET, 6 pm PT, 7 pm MT, and 8 pm CT. The episode will have a reported runtime of 50 minutes, which would make it one of the longest of the season (only surpassed by a minute in length by episodes 1, 4, and 8).
Early Daredevil: Born Again season 2 previews claimed that the first four episodes would be slower than the rest (and even then, the first half hasn't felt slow at all). Some critics have stated that the episodes to come are among the best Marvel has ever produced. To double down on this idea, a new Daredevil: Born Again season 2 trailer has been released, and it's made exclusively from clips of sequences that haven't happened yet. The best part? It looks like we're in for an explosive second half of the season.

Fan favorites such as Jessica Jones, Bullseye, and even Brett Mahoney are bound to steal the spotlight in the four remaining episodes of Daredevil: Born Again season 2. As if that weren't enough, we'll also witness iconic fight scenes, such as the confrontation between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk or the battle between Jessica and many members of the Anti-Vigilante Task Force.
With set photos confirming that The Defenders will assemble in the third season of Daredevil: Born Again, we can't help but wonder if Danny Rand or Luke Cage will make a quick cameo toward the finale of season 2. After all, the latter took over the Kingpin's spot as New York City's mayor after the supervillain was finally overthrown. Could we be about to witness something similar on the small screen?
From this point onwards, we'll get a single weekly release of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 until the finale drops on May 5. Just a week later, audiences will get to witness the Disney+ special The Punisher: One Last Kill, which is bound to explain what happened to Frank Castle and why he wasn't present in the Kingpin's cages at the Red Hook port. Furthermore, this special presentation will bridge the gap between the events of Daredevil: Born Again and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where the Punisher will also have a role to play.
There are plenty of exciting projects on the horizon for the MCU, including the last four episodes of what has been a spectacular show so far. Let's hope that, after all is said and done, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 manages to reach the heights set by its Netflix predecessor.
