Five episodes into Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and it feels like the Man Without Fear is truly back to form. After the cancellation of the highly acclaimed Netflix series, Marvel intended to fully reboot the story and characters that fans had fallen in love with. However, there was a creative reboot midway through production of Season 1 of the Disney+ series, and we can say it is one of the best decisions ever made.

Had Daredevil: Born Again not embraced what came before it, we wouldn't have had such emotional moments as Vanessa's death or Matt reminiscing about his days with Foggy Nelson. Fortunately, things are only bound to get better from here now that we're nearing the big Season 2 finale. With just three episodes to go, we're about to witness fast-paced action sequences, shocking twists, and even more long-awaited comebacks. Case in point: Jessica will finally join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it might happen sooner than expected.

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 episode 6 could finally feature Jessica Jones' debut

So far, the episode titles of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 have given us a pretty good idea of what to expect. "The Scales & the Sword" teased that we'd see Swordsman in action. Furthermore, "Gloves Off" outright revealed that Wilson Fisk would finally have his boxing match, while "The Grand Design" was a clever way to tell audiences that they would be witnessing flashback sequences. So what can we expect from episode 6, titled "Requiem"?

Aside from being the name of an awesome gun (Shoutout to Resident Evil), a requiem is the term used for a mass for the repose of the souls, especially in the Catholic Church. That alone tells us that we're about to witness the fallout of Vanessa's death, but perhaps not in a traditional way. While a requiem is an act of remembrance, chances are we'll see Wilson Fisk's own twisted way of honoring the death of his loved one.

Wilson Fisk will pull no punches now, which means he'll make the most out of his Anti-Vigilante Task Force, especially since the only person who could "temper his dark impulses" is gone. The Kingpin's personal army will turn the city upside down looking for Daredevil and Bullseye. Unfortunately, that means they are about to mess with the wrong person.

Thanks to a Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trailer, we know that the AVTF will look inside Jessica Jones' house, while her daughter watches the whole scene. That alone will be enough for everyone's favorite private investigator to jump back into action. With just three episodes to go, it is finally time for Jessica to join Matt Murdock's adventure, and "Requiem" seems like the likely place for that to happen.

Speaking of long-awaited comebacks, we know that Brett Mahoney is also set to appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. While the jury is still out on how he'll return, or why, maybe episode 6 can finally give us some much-needed answers.

Most importantly, we'll see the fallout of Daredevil following Foggy's example and saving Bullseye's life. That decision could've cost the life of the church's seminarian, so maybe Matt will use the AVTF's violent actions as an excuse to try and solve the whole case in court, finally overthrowing Wilson Fisk as New York City's mayor. Better yet, it won't be long until we find out what's in store for the Man Without Fear.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is now streming on Disney+.
