All engines are ready for launch. On July 25, 2025, audiences will take off and land in a parallel universe that promises the adventure of a lifetime. While we're used to the scenery of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we're about to explore a retro-futuristic world where there aren't dozens of heroes saving the day, as Marvel's first family is enough to stop any threat. Fantastic Four: First Steps is just around the corner, and to celebrate the occasion, Disney just released a brand new trailer that gives us our best look at the movie yet.

Mr. Fantastic's powers were finally unveiled, we got our first look at Shalla-Bal's Silver Surfer, and Galactus kind of made an appearance (or, at least, a part of him did). It's an exhilarating look that makes us wish the release date were just around the corner. But to make the wait feel shorter, it's time to dissect everything the trailer has to offer and uncover some of those worldwide famous Marvel secrets and easter eggs (because, let's face it: it wouldn't be a proper MCU project if it wasn't riddled with references for audiences to uncover).

Every Easter Egg in the Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer

At the 14-second mark, we can see two different Easter Eggs. The first one comes thanks to the street name in which The Thing is lifting a car. There's a yellow sign on the left side of the screen which says "Yancy ST", which is a reference to the Yancy Street Gang — a group of criminals notorious for going face-to-face against Ben Grimm in comic book pages. Furthermore, there's a blink-and-you-miss-it moment in which a "Stanley's Service Center" sign can be seen in the middle-right area of the screen before The Thing lifts the car. This is, of course, a nod to the man who created the Fantastic Four (as well as many other iconic heroes), Stan Lee.

Let's jump forward to the 27-second mark. Hiding in plain sight, there's a sign that reads "Silvermane's" to the left of the firefighters. If that name rings a bell, it's because Silvermane is a mob boss in comic book pages who usually faces (and loses to) Spider-Man. And speaking of comic books, at the 44-second mark, we see Johnny Storm holding a box of Lucky Charms cereal which features an illustration of the original Human Torch design in the source material.

There are a couple of references hiding at the 1:23 mark. For starters, there's a "Westview appliance television" neon sign, which is a nod to the town that Wanda Maximoff held captive during the events of the WandaVision series. Furthermore, we can see there's a movie in theaters called "Attack of the Fungi", which could be referencing The Last of Us franchise, in which the cordyceps fungi infects humans to create zombie-like creatures. Finally, there's a poster promoting a movie called "Subzero Intel", which fans had previously theorized could be a very obscure nod to Captain America, who spent many years frozen in ice.

At the 1:41 mark, Sue Storm can be seen wearing a "Future Foundation" suit, which is bound to make any superhero fan happy. In comic book pages, The Future Foundation is a group of gifted intellectuals, including the likes of The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and many more iconic characters. Perhaps their most iconic feature is their white futuristic suits (which make for one of the wall-crawler's best-ever looks if you were to ask me).

During the 1:58 mark, we find he last two hidden Easter Eggs in the trailer. The first one is the presence of a red sign which reads "Timely Comics" — a comic book publishing company that would become Marvel Comics over time in real life. Finally, we can also see the name of a store is "Leighton's", which could be a reference to Rachel Leighton — a criminal member of the Serpent Society in comic book pages. Last, but not least, we get a great look at the Fantasticar both at the 1:19 and the 1:58 mark. I know it's technically not an Easter Egg, but it's the best we've been able to see the famous vehicle across all promotional materials.

Those were all the Easter Eggs and secrets we were able to find in the official Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer. Did we miss some? Let us know on our social media pages on Bluesky, Instagram, and Twitter. And be sure to stick around with Bam! Smack! Pow! for everything superhero-related.
