The previous episode of Fallout season 2 opened with Lucy taking her father (Overseer Hank MacLean) to face justice in Vault 33 for the murder of the citizens in Shady Sands. As she’s bringing her handcuffed father out of the bunker, she sees what Hank is doing and how it changes murderous people into peaceful ones. While Lucy knows that this is unethical, she also sees the possibilities.

As Lucy is dealing with her father, Coop (a.k.a. the Ghoul) is saved by one of the mutants. As he’s being healed, a super mutant (as he’s called in the closed captions) tells him that a war is coming, and that his help will be needed. Coop responds, saying that his one reason for living will be to find his family. The super mutant says that the Ghoul will need friends in his mission. But if he won’t join them, he can’t know where they live. He then knocks Coop out.

When the Ghoul wakes up, he’s greeted by Maximus and Thaddeus. He doesn’t seem happy about this, but that may change. Because, as the super mutant said, he’s going to need friends to get to his wife and daughter.

Episode 6 may have been the best this year in terms of getting information as the show races towards the season finale. And since the season is coming to a close in a couple of weeks, it was right on time. Here’s how you can catch the next one to learn what’s next for Lucy, the Ghoul, Maximus, and more.

What to expect in Fallout season 2 episode 7

While Maximus was talking to Thaddeus, he said that Lucy is a good person. This is still the case, but he and the audience may think differently about her if she goes along with Hank’s plan to mind-control people. Sure, the people's violent impulses are controlled, but where will the line be drawn? That is a question Maximus will likely have.

Another possible storyline you'll see in the upcoming episodes of Fallout season 2 is the aftermath of the battle between the different sects of the Brotherhood of Steel that occurred during episode 5. Maximus stole the Cold Fusion, and the fallout (pardon the pun) will be massive. The Brotherhood of Steel will be looking to kill him over the energy source, and that could lead to Coop being forced to protect Maximus and Coop.

Lastly, we should learn more about what happened before the bombs dropped. The most interesting part will be what Barbara and Coop talked about after she removed the Cold Fusion from Hank’s neck. That was a moment no one saw coming and will be an important storyline as we head towards the season finale on February 3.
