The penultimate episode of Fallout season 2 had one heck of an ending. The biggest moment came when Lucy discovered that her father, Hank, was using the head of Diane Welch to keep the mind-controlled people happy. It’s a shocking scene that must have left viewers surprised. Now, Lucy sees the true villainy of her father.
Meanwhile, Cooper Howard (a.k.a. the Ghoul) takes the unlimited energy source to Vegas. When the system reboots, the real Robert House returns, but he’s in a digital form (think Arnim Zola in Captain America: The Winter Soldier). This could be a good thing for the world, or end with Coop doing something selfish and choosing his wife and daughter over humanity.
In Vault 33, Overseer Steph is having a flashback to her time before the bombs dropped. Within those memories, viewers learn why she's so ruthless, which adds sympathy to the character. Being in an internment camp and having the one person you love killed in front of you will turn anyone bad. It also doesn’t help that said loved one’s last words were to not look at people as humans. Sadly, instead of becoming a better person, she turned into the same kind of person who oppressed her. Here's when you can watch the next episode - the season finale - to find out what's next.

What to expect in the Fallout season 2 finale
The moment everyone wants to know is how Diane Welch went from helping the show's President of the United States to being a head connected to wires. The logical guess is that Fallout's POTUS was in on the scam. He likely took bribes in return for survival in one of the vaults. If I had to guess, Robert House will explain that story.
Overseer Steph could get her comeuppance thanks to Chet exposing her for not only not being born in the Vault, but in Canada, too (*gasp*). However, we still don’t know what’s in the box Betty Pearson gave her. It could be something that saves her from the angry mob or gets her out of Vault 33.
Lastly, will Coop be reunited with his wife and daughter? If so, how will they react to him looking like Wade Wilson’s butt-cheek? Furthermore, will there be tension between Barb Howard and Coop? The bombs dropped, and she helped set everything in motion.
