We may have entered a brand new year during the second season stint of Prime Video's Fallout but that hasn't stopped the breakout hit from dominating the conversation midweek once again. The gripping series, which is based on the legendary video game franchise of the same name, returned to the streamer for its second season in December and it very quickly made its presence felt all over again.
Fallout season 2 hasn't had the easiest stretch to air in due to sharing the release calendar with other massive releases, including Netflix's Emily In Paris season 5, the final season of Stranger Things, Disney Plus' Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 and HBO Max's Heated Rivalry but it has conitnued to enthrall audiences, gripping them in the middle of each and every week. After the most recent installment, you can bet the sixth episode is going to do the same.
When Fallout season 2 episode 6 comes out on Prime Video
Fallout season 2 episode 6, titled "The Other Player", premieres on Prime Video next Wednesday, January 21, at 12:00 a.m. PT, 3:00 a.m. ET, 1:00 a.m. MT, and 2:00 a.m. CT. With the exception of the season 2 premiere, this is the same timeslot that the sophomore season has held and, with just three episodes of its run left, that won't be changing in the weeks ahead.
The second season has taken the show into new territory, as Lucky and The Ghoul ventured into New Vegas, allowing the video game adaptation to explore the wider post-apocalyptic world. It has given season 2 an even more larger-than-life feel than its predecessor - and considering how captivating season 1 was in every way, that's a major deal.
There are now just three episodes of Fallout season 2 left to air, which undoubtedly means that we're in for the biggest adventures of them all in the coming weeks. What that will look like remains to be seen, but for characters like Lucy, The Ghoul, Hank and Norm, larger-than-life twists and genuinely shocking moments await.
With season 3 in the works, the sky is quite literally the limit for where Fallout will go next.
