We all know the Marvel Cinematic Universe is very secretive about each and every one of its projects, but things are taken to a whole other level when it comes to an Avengers film. While Daredevil: Born Again season 2 had its ending spoiled due to set pictures, the only set video that we have of Avengers: Doomsday doesn't quite reveal much, other than that the TVA will be involved in some capacity.
The superhero giant is trying to save as many surprises as possible for its upcoming crossovers until the release date, which means we usually don't really have a great idea of what to expect. While that hasn't changed in a major way just yet, at least we know whether Earth's Mightiest Heroes' upcoming adventure will reach the heights set by its predecessors or not.
After the culmination of the Infinity Saga, fans were worried that no other superhero film would be able to top the likes of Avengers: Infinity War or Endgame, but did their fears come true, or did the studio capture lightning in a bottle once again?

Reports indicate that an Avengers: Doomsday tested on the same level as Avengers: Infinity War
According to renowned insider MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel held an internal test screening for Avengers: Doomsday that didn't feature any of the material filmed during reshoots. Selected staff members, such as Kevin Feige, were present, and the general consensus is that it is one of "the best Marvel movies yet." It's important to keep in mind that the first internal screenings of the original version of Daredevil: Born Again resulted in a creative reboot that shifted the project in a whole new direction, so it's safe to say that honest feedback is normally given at these events.
To add more fuel to the fire, filmmaker Robert Meyer Burnett claimed that Avengers: Doomsday tested as well as Avengers: Infinity War, which is the highest praise the upcoming crossover can get if you were to ask this writer. In the best-case scenario, the film's reshoots only help improve the final product (while also adding a few more surprises along the way). All things considered, it looks like we're in for a fantastic experience.
As for Avengers: Doomsday itself, renowned insider Alex Perez teased that it will have a shocking bait and switch after the end of the second act that will make audiences initially think the film is over... only for the third act to kick in. Furthermore, it is expected that the upcoming crossover will mark the last appearance of many iconic heroes, such as the X-Men from the Fox era. From Avengers: Secret Wars onward, we're supposed to watch a new generation of mutants take over.
Now that Avengers: Doomsday is officially in post-production, chances are that Marvel will slowly start unveiling more things about the movie. At the time of writing this, the film's full trailer has been released but only to those in attendance at CinemaCon, this suggests San Diego Comic-Con could also be the ideal place to unveil more of what's to come (and perhaps even give us a long-awaited Avengers: Secret Wars tease).
It isn't long until Earth's Mightiest Heroes assemble once more, and if their upcoming adventure is anything like their previous two, then it seems fans are in for a treat.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on December 18, 2026.
