Can you hear that? It is the sound of Kevin Feige putting his Punisher costume on and going on the hunt for leakers. Unfortunately for him, the latest person to unveil a big spoiler was... none other than Luke Cage himself.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is midway through its run, but fans are already starting to look at what lies ahead. Season 3 has already started filming and, as is usually the case with these big productions, set pictures made their way online. This time, however, they unveiled a big secret: The Defenders are set to assemble once more. While Jessica Jones was already confirmed to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, fans were eager to discover more about Luke Cage and Danny Rand's fate.
Now that the cat is out of the bag and Marvel's biggest street-level heroes are confirmed to be coming back together, Luke Cage actor Mike Colter posted pictures of himself on the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 on social media. Unfortunately, one of them had a huge spoiler that unveils the end of the show's second season. Mike quickly edited the post to remove that specific photo, but it was a little too late, as fans had already captured a screenshot of it. But before we break down what's about to unfold: Beware, there will be huge spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 ahead. Turn back now if you don't want any surprises ruined for you.

Daredevil: Born Again season 3 will adapt the events of The Devil in Cell Block D comic book run
The signs were all there. Matt Murdock actor Charlie Cox stated that one of his favorite Daredevil moments in the comic book world took place in The Devil in Cell Block D run. Furthermore, both Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio—who portrays the Kingpin on the small screen—grew large beards to film Daredevil: Born Again season 3. Now, a picture posted by Mike Colter confirms what we all suspected: Marvel is about to adapt the events of The Devil in Cell Block D, in which Matt Murdock's secret identity is unveiled to the world, and he goes to prison.
The now-deleted picture showcases Mike Colter, Deborah Ann Woll, and Charlie Cox in what appears to be a prison visitation room. But if that wasn't enough, Charlie is also wearing an orange prison jumpsuit. That's right, the Man Without Fear will be sent directly to a place filled with countless criminals he helped capture in the first place.
Daredevil: Born Again showrunner revealed that the final five minutes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will unveil where season 3 is going. With that in mind, it isn't far-fetched to assume we'll witness Matt Murdock be sent to prison after his secret identity is unveiled to the world. What makes this twist all the more exciting is that he won't be alone in this new chapter of his life. After the Kingpin of Crime's illegal activities were finally exposed to the world, Wilson Fisk was also sent to the same prison as Matt. The two would then have to reluctantly form an alliance to escape that hellish place alive.

All throughout the events of The Devil in Cell Block D, Matt refuses to be Daredevil. Much to his surprise (and alibi), someone in New York has donned the Daredevil mantle and has been helping keep Hell's Kitchen safe. Eventually, it is revealed that Iron Fist was the one to wear the red costume, which could explain why Danny Rand is returning in Daredevil: Born Again season 3.
It's worth noting that during The Devil in Cell Block D storyline, The Punisher lets himself be captured by the police and sent to prison in order to help Matt (and eventually break him free). With that in mind, there's a chance that Frank Castle also returns in the third season of the Disney+ series. But the cherry on top? Matt, the Kingpin, and Frank Castle aren't the only ones living under the same roof, as Bullseye is also with them.
We're about to witness Daredevil trapped in a place filled with dozens of his worst enemies. Everyone will want to have a chance to "thank" the Man Without Fear for sending them to prison in the first place, and we can't wait to see how it all pans out.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
