Harley Quinn season 3 is not coming to HBO Max in January 2022

Harley Quinn season 3 is on its way but it won’t be arriving on HBO Max this month.

Harley Quinn had the world talking long before it ever made its debut on DC Universe. The animated series took a surprisingly mature slant on DC Comics with its adult language and mature content, but that didn’t mean it was willing to act mature.

The hilariously goofy and over-the-top animated series saw Harley pull away from The Joker and start up her very own league of supervillains.

While anticipation for Harley Quinn season 3 (which will now stream on HBO Max) is very high, fans have had quite the wait for new information from the series, just because there haven’t been any real kind of updates. We got our first major one at DC FanDome, which confirmed that the show would not be arriving in 2021.

However, HBO Max has released its full line-up for January 2022 and Harley Quinn season 3 is not listed among the arrivals.

Harley Quinn season 3 release date

Harley Quinn season 3 is definitely set to be released in 2022. While it was initially expected to make its presence felt at some point in late 2021, it soon became clear that it wouldn’t be hitting HBO Max until 2022.

The news was then confirmed via a special panel at this year’s DC FanDome presentation. An animated presentation, it featured Kaley Cuoco’s Princess of Plunder as she hilarious recapped the fact that it’s been a long time since we’ve seen new episodes of Harley Quinn while also confirming that, yes people, animation does take time.

Needless to say, it will be worth the wait.
