We're not too far away from the heavily-anticipated third season of House of the Dragon, and to say that fans are ready for it would be an understatement. It's well-documented how far apart seasons of the HBO show's run are spread, and that makes each one of them all the more desired. And, with us coming up on a whole two-year gap between seasons 2 and 3, the latter is almost upon us. To say that fans are ready would be an understatement - and that is especially true after the positive reception to fellow Westerosi series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms earlier this year.

We know that the Game of Thrones spinoff will be back this year in June, although an exact release date has yet to be confirmed. However, the stars of the show are set to attend the CCXP Mexico panel for the series this weekend, with a trailer among the many teases and surprises expected from it. So, with that in mind, here's when you can expect the event to begin, including when that rumored trailer might release.

A new House of the Dragon season 3 trailer is expected at CCXP Mexico

The House of the Dragon season 3 panel at CCXP Mexico starts at 7:15 pm CT, 9:15 pm ET, 6:15 pm PT, and 8:15 pm MT. That's because it will begin at 7:15 pm local time in Mexico, which translates to these specific times in each US time zone. A trailer is expected to release as part of that panel, along with some other surprises and announcements.

Considering that House of the Dragon season 3 is one of the most eagerly-awaited TV shows in the world, fans from all around the globe will be waiting for updates from the panel. So, with that in mind, here are the global start times for the House of the Dragon CCXP panel, including in areas such as the UK, India, and Australia:

  • Hawaii: 3:15 p.m. HST on Saturday, April 25
  • Alaska: 5:15 p.m. AKDT on Saturday, April 25
  • West Coast of the US: 6:15 p.m. PT on Saturday, April 25
  • Mountain Time: 7:15 p.m. MT on Saturday, April 25
  • Midwest of the US: 8:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 25
  • East Coast of the US: 9:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 25
  • Brazil: 10:15 p.m. BRT on Saturday, April 25
  • UK: 2:15 a.m. BST on Sunday, April 26
  • France: 3:15 a.m. CEST on Sunday, April 26
  • Germany: 3:15 a.m. CEST on Sunday, April 26
  • India: 6:15 a.m. IST on Sunday, April 26
  • Italy: 3:15 a.m. CEST on Sunday, April 26
  • Spain: 3:15 a.m. CEST on Sunday, April 26
  • South Korea: 10:15 a.m. KST on Sunday, April 26
  • Japan: 10:15 a.m. JST on Sunday, April 26
  • Sydney, Australia: 12:15 p.m. AEST on Sunday, April 26

Note: It's important to point out that, while season 3 footage / trailer is expected as part of the panel for audiences in attendance, it's not guaranteed that this will be released to the wider public. That being said, as HBO unveiled a new look at the second season's CCXP panel two years ago, there's a pretty strong chance that the same approach will be replicated here - especially when you consider that the show's release is two months away.

What to expect from House of the Dragon season 3 CCXP panel

The House of the Dragon season 3 panel at CCXP Mexico will feature stars from the show Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, and Fabien Frankel (who play Daemon Targaryen, Lady Alicent Hightower, and Ser Criston Cole on the HBO series) as they take to the stage to tease fans with what's to come from the show's upcoming return.

Reports indicate that a new look at the third season will also be screened for the audiences in attendance, with the hopes that it might be released online too. Another thing expected is the show's actual release date. HBO had previously announced that the third season would premiere in June 2026 without attaching an official release date to the announcement. With two months (or less) to go until the premiere, it's highly likely that an official release date will be confirmed at the CCXP Mexico panel.

This third season will be all about the war between Rhaenyra and King Aegon II Targaryen. The latter is the false king after Alicent's poor judgement led to her sons usurping the throne from the rightful queen, Rhaenyra. Although Alicent attempted to correct her sins and find a peaceful resolution to the coming war between the Greens and the Blacks, season 3's reputation already precedes it as a larger-than-life event that is sure to change the trajectory of House of the Dragon's four-season run.

Here's hoping the CCXP panel, potential trailer and release date give us a clearer indication of what to expect - and when to expect it.
