In the previous episode of Invincible season 3, Mark Grayson was brought to the far future to save Earth from someone he put in charge of keeping everyone safe, the Immortal. Unfortunately, Immortal lived so long that he was eventually driven mad. He became a tyrant who killed people for small offenses. With no option left, Mark rips Immortal’s head off his body. The future was saved, but Mark was left devastated having killed someone he looked up to.
On a happier note, Mark and Eve finished their date. They flew around the world and saw sights and did things that only people with their abilities could experience. And while they haven’t dated long, Mark and Eve admitted they love each other. It was a nice balance after what Mark went through.
In another part of the universe, Nolan (Omni-Man) and Allen the Alien escape the Viltrumite prison with the help of Battle Beast. After breaking out, Allen tells Nolan they need to leave before more enemies show up, but Nolan hits Allen with shocking news. No one will be sent. There are less than 50 pure-blood Viltrumites left in the universe. This information is part of the keys to saving the universe.

The preview for the next episode shows the return of Titan (voiced this season by Todd Williams). Titan needs Invincible’s help dealing with his boss, Mr. Liu (voiced by Tzi Ma) who's attempting to break Multi-Paul out of prison. If this is anything like the source material, this will be a minor part of the story. The big thing should be Nolan and Allen making their way back to Talescria (Home of the Coalition of Planets) with information about the lack of pure-blood Viltrumites.
Nolan and Thaedus know the secret of the Viltrumites almost being wiped out by the Scourge Virus. What viewers may find out is that Thaedus kept some of the virus in case things get dire. That information may be revealed in this episode, but still kept from Nolan. Also, we could see Nolan and Allen start their journey to get help for their upcoming war.
