Invincible season 4 episode 5 release time (by time zone), preview, and what to expect

The next episode of Invincible season 4 starts a war that will change Mark Grayson, his brother Oliver, and Omni-Man forever. Here’s when you can watch to find out what that means.

The most recent episode of Prime Video’s Invincible season 4 gave viewers a storyline that not even comic book fans knew about, and it was nothing short of amazing. There was an interesting tale about what Hell really is, and that leads to a conversation about what it means to be a good person without the idea of Heaven (there was also an unexpectedly major recast in there, too). After Invincible and Damian defeated Volcanikka, Saatan sends Damian Darkblood back to Earth to be his eyes and ears.

Things didn't end there, however. The mid-credits scene revealed that Darkblood’s fear of Satan returning to Earth could happen. That means another storyline that comic book fans haven’t seen could be on its way. However, as great as that was, the most important moment of the episode came before that when Nolan (Omni-Man) returned to Earth

Mark Grayson thought his father was dead. Then, out of nowhere, he returns and tells him that the time for war is upon them. Nolan’s timing couldn’t have been worse. Eve is just about to tell him that she’s pregnant, as Allen the Alien and Omni-Man take Mark’s attention away from her. And knowing that the universe needs him, there’s no way Eve will tell him now. Let's find out when the next episode premieres so you can see how things go.

What to expect in Invincible season 4 episode 5

Invincible season 4 has been building towards this moment so it's fair to say that the upcoming fifth episode will be a big one. From the return of Omni-Man to the building war, there is a lot on the cards. We're also at the halfway point of the season, so you can rest assured that the Prime Video series will up the ante to set the stage for the final few episodes.

I fully expect this episode to end with the conclusion of round two of Invincible vs Conquest. It will be a moment that will terrify Mark, but it will end with Invincible looking stronger and more courageous than he has so far (and that's saying something). It will come with major ramifications, but it will be worth it.

Another plot to look out for in this one is how Debbie reacts to seeing Nolan. She clearly isn’t over him, and seeing him again could lead to her not moving out. This moment will also probably be more in-depth than the variation in the source material. It's also something that will elevate Omni-Man's character in the eyes of the viewers.
