On the previous episode of Invincible season 4 , the Viltrumite War went from zero to sixty rather quickly. The warriors of Viltrume attacked Talescria after Grand Regent Thragg’s mole shut down the planet’s defences. The villainous Viltrumites eviscerated the world’s civilians despite Allen, Tech Jacket, and Great Thaddeus’ attempts at protection. Luckily, help came right when they needed it most.

Before the siege on Talescria, Nolan (Omni-Man) and his son Oliver were watching over Mark Grayson (Invincible) as he recovered from his near-death fight with Conquest. While Mark healed up, Oliver ended up understanding and forgiving his father for not seeing him on Earth and saying that his mother (Andressa) didn’t mean anything to him. Eventually, Mark wakes up and recovers enough for the trio to join the fight and prevent more deaths.

At the end of the episode, Thadeus says that it’s time for them to attack Thragg before his forces join him. That means it’s time for the heroes to go to the heart of the empire, the Planet Viltrum.

What to expect in Invincible season 4 episode 7

Finally, after weeks of waiting (longer for fans of the Invincible comic book), Prime Video viewers will see what Grand Regent Thragg can do in the TV series. If you think Conquest and Omni-Man were a force, wait until you see what he is capable of. To hit the point home, don’t forget that even Conquest cowered at Thragg’s feet.

As much as I’m anticipating the arrival of the Viltrumite’s overlord, that won’t be the best part of the episode. One of the greatest feats in comic book history will take place and set up the season finale in a major way.

Speaking of the season finale, tonight's seventh episode will serve as the penultimate episode of season 4, meaning that we have just two more adventures of this particular chapter of the Invincible story to go. As we all know from this show's reputation, the big episodes are undoubtedly yet to come as the show's fourth season will undoubtedly go out on a major high.
