It's safe to say that Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles of the year. Earth's Mightiest Heroes will join forces with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four on the big screen for the first time ever to fight a common threat. Moreover, iconic characters like Chris Evans' Steve Rogers will be back in action, while Robert Downey Jr. will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Doom. All pieces are set for the end of the multiverse to play out in grand fashion, and naturally, fans are excited to see what will happen next.
So far, Marvel has released four Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers, two official trailers, and a sneak peek at its upcoming film during Game 1 of the MLB World Series. However, the studio isn't done promoting what's shaping up to be its biggest project to date. According to a new report, a third trailer is coming our way, and it could be the most important one yet.
A new Avengers: Doomsday trailer will reportedly be released between November 10 and 25
According to industry insider Hablemos De Cine, a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is expected to be released between November 10 and 25. While the source didn't reveal any additional details besides the date, it isn't far-fetched to assume this would be the long-awaited "final trailer" that could give us our best look yet at everything Marvel has in store.
The final trailer for the MCU's last crossover, Avengers: Endgame, was released one month and twelve days before the movie hit theaters. With that in mind, the reported window for the Avengers: Doomsday trailer seems to check out, as the footage could also be released a month before Earth's Mightiest Heroes assemble on the big screen.
So far, Marvel has decided to play it safe with its promotional material. Many scenes across the first and second trailers for Avengers: Doomsday are identical, and there have been no major surprises teased along the way. Hopefully, this will finally change.
Fans once theorized that a second chair cast announcement would be made prior to the film's release, and yet that wasn't the case. Despite that, multiple characters such as Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool, and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine are reported to make an appearance. So, could the final trailer finally give us a look at new, unannounced characters?
Unfortunately, it's unlikely the studio will pull the curtain on any major reveal now that we're so close to the release of Avengers: Doomsday. However, there's one open secret Marvel could decide to confirm, and that is Deadpool's involvement. After all, the Merc with a Mouth has already appeared in official Avengers: Doomsday merch, and Ryan Reynolds showed up at Marvel's presentation at San Diego Comic-Con to ask whether he could be part of the crossover too.
In addition to revealing the appearance of more characters, the final trailer could give us a better sense of the story. At this point, multiple reports have unveiled how the movie will play out. But if we were just to take a look at official promotional material, it is a little more difficult to tell what the narrative will be about. While there's nothing wrong with trying to keep the film's plot under wraps as much as possible, it's also likely that Marvel will try to make the most of its last chance to promote Avengers: Doomsday.
Fortunately, we're less than a month away from the reported release of the final Avengers: Doomsday trailer, and in under two months, we'll finally experience everything the film has to offer for ourselves.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released on Dec. 18, 2026.
