Back in March 2024, audiences worldwide witnessed the comeback of a lifetime. After years of believing that Charlie Cox's time as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen was over, he proved us wrong with an amazing season of television that pulled no punches. Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 was all about Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk trying to escape the demons from their past, but ultimately embracing who they really are. It took some time for the two to go back to their old ways, but they're finally back in action on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which means fans are excited about what's to come.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has been a reality for quite some time now, and we have even seen small glimpses of it courtesy of set pictures and videos. However, Marvel was keeping its cards close to the chest and had yet to reveal an official look at the hero's upcoming adventure. Fortunately, that finally changed, and there are plenty of exciting reveals to break down.
Marvel releases a sneak peek at Daredevil Born Again Season 2 during New York Comic Con
During New York Comic Con 2025, Marvel unveiled the very first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Unfortunately, this first look was showcased to everyone in attendance and hasn't made its way online yet. On the bright side, we have plenty of descriptions that paint a clear picture of all the chaos that will ensue in Hell's Kitchen.

For starters, multiple parties (such as The Beyond Reporter and QuidVacuo) claim that the trailer has the feel of the Daredevil Netflix series, as the next batch of episodes appears to be even more violent and filled with more color.
As for what was shown, things kick off with Matt Murdock and Karen Page presumably living together, dancing, and kissing. Benjamin Poindexter was showcased having dinner and a milkshake while winking at someone (and it's worth noting that a different description claims the villain is having said dinner with Matt and Karen). Wilson Fisk was shown boxing, which aligns with set photos that revealed he'll host a charity boxing event, and Michael Gandolfini's Blake is set to make a comeback, too.
As for the shocking moments in the trailer, audiences got a glimpse of Foggy Nelson, who has been confirmed to appear in season 2. The overall consensus is that the shot of Foggy occurs during a flashback, given that he has a long hairstyle yet again. There was also a blink-and-you-miss-it moment with Matthew Lillard's character, whose name is Mr. Charles and will act as an antagonist to Kingpin.
Jessica Jones also made an appearance, and audiences got to see her in action, fighting other people. Last, but certainly not least, Daredevil's Shadowland suit was showcased, and at long last, we'll see the iconic hero sport his chest logo. To cap the panel off, Krysten Ritter took over the stage, much to fans' excitement. However, right before she made her big entrance, Charlie Cox had something very interesting to say:

When mentioned that Matt Murdock is assembling a team to "defend" New York City, Charlie Cox answered: "Who's first on that list?". We all knew that Matt Murdock and Jessica Jones would team up for the very first time since the Netflix Marvel era. However, Charlie's words suggest she won't be the only hero recruited to take Fisk down. For a long time now, it has been theorized that Mike Colter's Luke Cage could also appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, along with Finn Jones' Iron Fist. With that in mind, Marvel is certainly hinting that there will be a Defenders reunion soon enough.
Fortunately, we won't have to wait long to see what Matt Murdock has been up to since the last time we saw him. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will officially be released in March 2026 on Disney+, which aligns with the comment that the series will have annual releases.

Given that the new batch of episodes isn't too far away, it won't be long before Marvel releases the trailer online for everyone to see. Meanwhile, it's worth highlighting that Daredevil: Born Again has been officially renewed for a third season, which means the Devil of Hell's Kitchen is not only back, but that he's here to stay.
