The WandaVision trilogy has been filled with a lot of mystery and intrigue, so it's only natural the final chapter isn't any different. Six episodes of VisionQuest have already been released, and they have raised many unnerving questions.

Who is the mysterious Client? Will F.R.I.D.A.Y. be able to return home? And who created Jocasta? Episodes 7 and 8 have a lot of explaining to do, and they are expected to be filled with countless twists and turns. But what no one could've seen coming is that Marvel itself would reveal some of these surprises ahead of time.

Paul Bettany—known for playing Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—was recently a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! During the interview, Marvel unveiled a new clip from VisionQuest episode 7, and while the studio could've decided to show footage light on spoilers, it actually did the complete opposite. But before we break everything down, this is an official warning: There will be spoilers for the next episode of VisionQuest ahead. If you don't want any surprises ruined, it's best to turn away now.

VisionQuest episode 7 will feature an unexpected return

Since the very first episode of VisionQuest, the show has made something very clear: The version of Vision we've been following isn't the same one who fought Thanos alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes and fell in love with Wanda. The original iteration of Vision died at the hands of the Mad Titan, and while S.W.O.R.D. reconstructed his body during the events of WandaVision, they are two different beings.

This has been one of the main emotional arcs of VisionQuest. The titular hero is trying to understand who he really is and whether he can be a hero like his predecessor or not. But while the whole world thought the original version of Vision was no more, it has now been revealed that he has been hiding in the same place as most other AIs.

The VisionQuest episode 7 clip reveals that Wanda's construct of Vision didn't disappear completely after the Hex was undone. Instead, part of it was stored away in White Vision's mind, and these two different characters will finally be able to come face to face.

For starters, this implies that the original Vision has been there since the moment his memories were transferred to his new, upgraded counterpart. Moreover, it also means the new Vision has been trying to keep his former self buried—perhaps as a defense mechanism in order to avoid mourning Wanda's death and trying to ignore the events of WandaVision.

The first episode of VisionQuest revealed that the current iteration of the former Avenger purposefully avoids playing clips of the events his predecessor lived through with Wanda, Billy, and Tommy in Westview. Moreover, audiences have seen almost all of Vision's White Mansion, but we have never ventured into its basement. So it is likely that this is the place where the original hero has been imprisoned all along.

By the end of VisionQuest, it is likely that Vision will embrace all versions of his previous lives. After all, it has also been widely speculated that Jim Hammond could be the mysterious Client, and he's simply trying to find a new body to live in. If all these pieces come together in a seamless way, then we will see the creation of the ultimate version of the iconic Marvel hero, just in time for the events of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

On the bright side, it won't be long before we watch VisionQuest episode 7 for ourselves and get some much-needed answers. Moreover, it's important to remember that Marvel changed the original release schedule, and now all episodes are dropping on Tuesday. So in just a few days, we'll see two iterations of Vision talk to each other once more.
