Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is about to bring Jennifer Walters to the MCU and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Marvel Studios has not been holding back when it comes to expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen. Through the Disney Plus streaming service, the MCU has grown exponentially as new original series like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and What If…? (as well as the upcoming installments Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye) have built the foundations of Phase Four exceptionally well.
But that partnership with Disney Plus will continue to expand into this year with the arrival of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law – a nine-part series that will introduce movie and TV fans to the iconic Marvel Comics character Jennifer Walters. And fans of the Jade Giantess are very excited for her arrival.
Below, you’ll find all the up-to-date information you need about She-Hulk, its premiere on Disney Plus, its cast, any trailers and more.
She-Hulk release date
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will premiere on Disney Plus on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. There has been rumors that the show would arrive soon after Ms. Marvel, with August popping up as a likely release window after a Disney Plus glitch put August 17 on people’s radars.
She-Hulk cast
She-Hulk has been building quite the impressive cast over the past few months. Tatiana Maslany will, of course, lead the series as Jennifer Walters herself (after initial confusion over whether she was playing the role or not) while Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk. And he’s not the only familiar face from the MCU set to reappear in the show.
As of writing, here are the expected cast members for Marvel’s She-Hulk:
- Tatiana Maslany – Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk
- Mark Ruffalo – Bruce Banner / Hulk
- Tim Roth – Emil Blonsky / Abomination
- Ginger Gonzaga – Jennifer Walters’ best friend
- Renée Elise Goldsberry – Amelia
- Jameela Jamil – Titania
As well as the above cast members, Anais Almonte and Arrow‘s Josh Segarra have reportedly been cast in as-of-yet unnamed roles.
She-Hulk trailer
The first trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney At Law was released during Disney Plus’ 2022 Upfronts presentation, showcasing the first full looks at Tatiana Maslany as the Jade Giantess, along with Mark Ruffalo’s returning Bruce Banner and Tim Roth’s The Abomination.
What is She-Hulk about?
The full details of She-Hulk‘s story have not yet been revealed by Marvel Studios but a brief official synopsis released sometime ago describes the show as “a new comedy series” about Jennifer Walters – “a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases”.
Comic book fans likely knew that already but as Marvel likes to keep things close to their chest for as long as possible that is likely the only description or teaser we will get from the series for a while.
As that synopsis suggests, the show is a half-hour legal comedy that will focus on Jennifer Walters’ escapades in the courtroom as she presumably attempts to deal with her emerging, green, other half.
