Back in 2018, Marvel Comics debuted Immortal Hulk by Al Ewing. It was a series with the most conniving and devious Hulk ever, the Devil Hulk. It also got into mystical and cosmic things like the One Below All, Hell, and more. In 2023, Al Ewing brought the Immortal title back with the All-Father and God of Thunder in Immortal Thor.
Both titles were hits thanks to creative new looks at two well-known heroes. Since that was the case, keeping the Immortal titles going would be a great way to showcase the depth of Marvel Comics characters and boost ones who deserve to be highlighted. These ten fit that description.

10. Cable
The idea of Cable being immortal because he’s a time traveler is a dope concept. He’s lived multiple lives and seen more things than some gods. In the hands of Al Ewing, readers could learn how deep his life is on a scale that isn’t confined to one time period or timeline.

9. Wolverine
Like Bruce Banner, Logan considers himself a monster. And, like in Immortal Hulk, the things Al Ewing would have Logan healing from would be horrifying. But, the best part is he’d heal and come out a stronger hero because of how he adjusted to win the battle.

8. Mystique
Raven Darkholme is an evil person. However, during Declan Shalvey’s Mystique, you can see that she loves hard and is willing to do whatever is needed to keep her people safe. It would be cool to see her shapeshifting abilities and decades of experience used for more than that and terrorism.
7. Sabretooth
Victor Creed is the only villain I’d like to see Al Ewing write. He’s already written deplorable people as antagonists. Now, imagine what he’d do for Sabretooth as the main character. You’d still know he’s awful, but it would be like Cersei Lannister. You’d want them to perish, but hope they survive.
6. Sentry
An Immortal Sentry comic book would be a lot like Immortal Hulk. It’s a story about wondering if the person behind the powers is good or evil. In this case, we know the Void is the villain, but what if there’s a reason for his wickedness?

5. Loki
After everything we’re seeing from Loki in Immortal Thor (and likely later in The Mortal Thor), they deserve their own title. A series where we see Loki causing mischief for good, and seeing the depths of his soul. Because, despite what they’ve shown you, Loki isn’t as immoral as they let on. Kieron Gillen would work wonders with this series.
4. Monet St. Croix
Monet St. Croix is long overdue for an ongoing series, and using the "Immortal" title is a great way to kick this off. However, instead of this being written by Al Ewing, Eve Ewing (Exceptional X-Men), or G. Willow Wilson (Poison Ivy) should be the ones to take this. They both know how to take care of underrated and unappreciated characters.
3. Clea
Initially, Doctor Strange was in this spot, but it was switched to Clea for a couple of reasons. First, like Monet St. Croix, she needs an ongoing series. Second, both of Al Ewing’s Immortal titles dive into the realm of gods and mysticism. For Clea, she’s the Sorcerer Supreme of the Dark Dimension. Who wouldn’t want to see her daily life as she deals with the gods of the realm she protects? Give this to Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and let them cook.
2. Multiple Man
Madrox had a great run in Marvel Comics thanks to legendary writer Peter David (Rest in Peace to a legend). Now it’s time for someone else to take over, and Kelly Thompson is the right person to do it. She has a knack for taking goofy characters and giving them depth. Look no further than her run of Birds of Prey for proof of that.
Multiple Man fits the theme because Madrox has lived seemingly immortal lives thanks to his duplicates. After he reabsorbs them, he gains his duplicates’ memories and the abilities they've learned. So, in a sense, his mutant powers give him the ability to live multiple lives in one lifetime.
1. Moon Knight
For Moon Knight, death is just another part of life. He’s been dead so many times that it doesn’t hold secrets, and it doesn’t scare him. That’s all thanks to the god he serves, Khonshu, who could be a crucial part of this series.
Immortal Moon Knight would give Marvel Comics fans a chance to see the supernatural beings and Egyptian Gods that they normally wouldn’t. The creative team of Storm (writer Murewa Ayodele and artist Lucas Werneck) would be the perfect duo to take this on.
