Within the first minute of Marvel Studios' VisionQuest trailer, Vision says “I have his memories, but not his virtue” referring to the Vision who debuted in Avengers: Age of Ultron and was ultimately killed by Thanos. This version, however, is the one created by S.W.O.R.D., who debuted in WandaVision and was resurected via the Scarlet Witch's magic. That quote is immediately followed by Ultron, who said the dead witch (Wanda Maximoff) did a number on him. That interaction alone is enough to let viewers understand what this show will be about.
The studio that brought viewers WandaVision and single-handedly launched the Marvel Disney Plus universe is back. Their objective is to return the magic that some say the Marvel Cinematic Universe has lost. While I may not agree, it’s certain that VisionQuest will be a must-watch show.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, and James Spader reprises his role playing Ultron. They’re both joined by an amazing cast, including T'Nia Miller (The Haunting of Bly Manor) who's playing Jocasta, Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek), playing E.D.I.T.H. Also joining them is Orla Brady as Friday and Todd Stashwick, who's playing Paladin (both of whom were in Star Trek: Picard). Agent Carter's Mr. Jarvis, James D'Arcy, portrays a human version of JARVIS, and Ruaridh Mollica makes his MCU debut as Tommy Maximoff.
We can't wait to see each of those characters in action, and here's when you can do just that!

What to expect in the series premiere of VisionQuest
Marvel Studios' two-episode premiere of VisionQuest is a smart move. It will give viewers a chance to see what’s been going on with the White Vision since the last time he was seen in WandaVision. As for the people who aren’t familiar with the MCU or Marvel Comics, they’ll get a thorough introduction to everyone involved. Plus, a two-episode premiere is enough of a sample size for people to determine whether or not they want to continue watching the series. It worked like a dream for both predecessors WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
Maybe the most noteworthy part of the show is the debut of the son of Vision and the Scarlet Witch, Tommy Maximoff (Ruaridh Mollica). The trailer shows that he appears to be in trouble with the law, and the only way to help him is for Vision to let Ultron out.
It appears that Ultron getting out will put him back on his quest to abolish humanity. Nevertheless, almost every father would risk the world for their child. However, is Vision too logical to make a move like that? Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow to find out.
