The season 3 premiere of My Adventures with Superman was the perfect example of what to expect from the show. What’s even better is that you don’t need to watch the previous seasons to jump on and enjoy the project. Sure, some of the storylines may require researching, but the debut did a fantastic job showing what to expect from one of DC Comics’ best programs. There’s no way this won’t bring in new viewers.
One of the storylines to watch out for will surround the newest member of the Super Family, the clone of Superman - and I’m not talking about Superboy. I’m talking about who is likely this universe’s Bizarro.
So far, “Bizarro” doesn’t seem to have the backwards speech that the comic book version does, and he’s not evil. He has a heart of gold, thanks to being raised by a scientist who didn’t want “Bizarro Superman” to become a weapon. And, according to the trailer below, it looks like we’ll see him again sooner rather than later.
My Adventures with Superman, season 3, episode 2, release time on Toonami and HBO Max
My Adventures with Superman season 3 episode 2, titled "Mobile Suit Toyman", debuts on Adult Swim (via its Toonami programming block) in the US on Saturday, June 20, at 12:00 a.m. ET / PT. It will then be available to stream on HBO Max on Sunday, June 21, at 3:00 a.m. ET, 12:00 a.m. PT, 1:00 a.m. MT, and 2:00 a.m. CT.
As HBO Max is a global streaming service, the second episode will indeed be available to watch around the world at the same time. What to expect in the next episode of My Adventures With Superman season 3
The previous episode of My Adventures With Superman ends with Lex Luthor talking to Slade Wilson about what their next steps will be. When Luthor suggests that Hank Henshaw be a part of their plan, Slade reminds him that Hank needs machines just to breathe. Lex replies: “Exactly. He’s perfect.”
The villain's comment is hinting at something we have seen in the promos for season 3 of My Adventures with Superman: The arrival of Cyborg Superman. While Hank won’t likely return with his new superpowers and look in the next episode, viewers will likely see the next step Lex Luthor takes in creating him.
