Marvel Studios is hard at work preparing the finishing touches for its Multiverse Saga. The franchise is heading towards two more Avengers movies, which will serve as a two-part finale to the current chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But it will also be juggling a Spider-Man movie, a Fantastic Four film, the intriguing Wonder Man series, and a show that has been three years in the making.

The latter is, of course, Ironheart, which actually wrapped production three years ago and has been mysteriously absent from Marvel Television's release schedule ever since. Starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, it marks her first return to the MCU franchise after her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And with that set to be the franchise's next installment, the promo train has already begun.

Ironheart has already received a number of trailers, but the Ryan Coogler-produced show's most recent teaser featured some familiar faces.

Iron Man, Spider-Man, and more MCU legends feature in new Ironheart trailer

Marvel Studios has unveiled a new teaser for Ironheart and it features some surprises in there. The teaser, posted to all social media platforms, features a new look the upcoming Disney Plus show while also focusing on the importance of the suit that Riri Williams will don.

Posted with the caption "It’s not about the suit, but who’s behind it", the clip explores all of the icons of the MCU who have worn technologically advanced suits, starting with the godfather of the franchise himself Tony Stark. a.k.a. Iron Man. You can watch it below:

The teaser moves from Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man to Tom Holland's Peter Parker / Spider-Man, sporting the Iron Spider armor that he wore in Avengers: Infinity War. It then takes way back to 2008's Iron Man to showcase Jeff Bridges' Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger suiting up, even showing him screaming at his employees about how "Tony Stark was able to build [his first Iron Man suit] in a cave... with a box of scraps!".

We then see footage of Don Cheadle's James "Rhodey" Rhodes suiting up as War Machine from Iron Man 2, Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner as the Hulkbuster in Avengers: Infinity War (when his Hulk wouldn't come out to fight Thanos' army), and Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts in her Rescue armor in Iron Man 3 and Avengers: Endgame. It all then leads to a showcase of Riri Williams donning the various suits she will wear in Ironheart.

There is no doubt about it that the MCU has a long line of iconic suits of armor in the MCU and now Riri gets to add her name to that list. Given that she made her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever almost three years ago, she already has.

Much of the Multiverse Saga has been all about legacy heroes. Yelena Belova took over the Black Wudow mantle from her sister Natasha Romanoff, while Sam Wilson became the next Captain America after his friend Steve Rogers passed it onto him. Now, Riri Willaims looks set to carry on Iron Man's everlasting legacy through her talents and creations which, in the comics, rival even that of the iconic Iron Man suit.

Riri, we're ready for you to make your mark in the MCU!

Ironheart premieres on Disney Plus on June 24, 2025.
