While Avengers: Doomsday will have a massive cast, one MCU team will reportedly be almost entirely excluded. Avengers: Doomsday will feature multiple MCU teams, including the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men. However, there was apparently no room for one key team to return in full.
Entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello reported that The Marvels team would only have one member appearing in Avengers: Doomsday and it is likely not the one most people expected. The rumor suggests that Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Maria Rambeau will not appear in the team-up movie, but there is a role for Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel.
Kamala was last seem in The Marvels, with a post-credit scene finding her recruiting Kate Bishop for what seemed like a tease for a Young Avengers team. However, those plans have not gotten much traction, leaving it up in the air when Kamala would be seen again. Her involvement in Avengers: Doomsday speaks to her popularity, as other characters who launched on a MCU Disney+ show, like She-Hulk and Moon Knight, have been missing from the MCU.

The exclusion of the rest of The Marvels is a surprise
Avengers: Doomsday is already a very crowded MCU movie, but the fact that the rest of Kamala Khan's The Marvels teammates are not included is a bit bizarre. Captain Marvel is certainly the most popular of The Marvels characters, and she remains one of the biggest heroes still in the MCU. Avengers: Doomsday seemed like an ideal place for her to step into a leading role in the cinematic universe.
Aside from that, storywise, it would seem necessary for Monica and Maria Rambeau to appear in Avengers: Doomsday given the ending of The Marvels. The post-credit scene found Monica transported into an alternate universe where she is reunited with a version of her mother, Maria. However, it also features an appearance from Kelsey Grammer as Beast.
Given that the Fox X-Men appear in Avengers: Doomsday, it would appear as though Monica wound up in their area of the multiverse. For them to just disappear from that storyline would feel a quite messy, especially if Kamala Khan appears and has no questions about what happened to Monica.
This is one Marvel rumor we're hoping will prove to be inaccurate as it would be a miss to only feature one member of The Marvels team in Avengers: Doomsday. However, it wouldn't be surprising given how large the Avengers: Doomsday ensemble is shaping up to be.
