The Web of Life and Destiny is plunged into chaos right now. Something big is coming, and no Spider-Man from across the multiverse can stop its impending arrival. There's nothing we can do but prepare ourselves, as a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is on the horizon.
2026 will be one of the biggest years for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in recent history. While the superhero giant is only releasing two movies, one of them will assemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes for the first time since the release of Avengers: Doomsday, and the other will mark the wall-crawler's return to the big screen after nearly half a decade. Excitement levels for both projects are at an all-time high, and fans are eager to see more of what lies in store. Fortunately, that day may be nearly here.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day has seen a big marketing campaign push in recent days. New posters are arriving, merch is being revealed, our first look at Tombstone is here, and we got a tease of Spider-Man fighting the Hulk. These new reveals have had the whole world speculating that a new trailer is coming, and a new report not only confirms those suspicions but also reveals when we can expect it.
A new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer will reportedly be attached to Masters of the Universe
According to insider Cryptic HD Quality, a new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer will be attached to Masters of the Universe, which will be released on Jun. 5, 2026. The source has a great track record, having correctly reported the episode runtimes for Spider-Noir and Daredevil: Born Again, as well as the release window for the first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer.
Sony is in charge of producing the live-action Spider-Man movies. Furthermore, Masters of the Universe will be distributed by Sony in international markets (while Amazon MGM Studios will handle those duties in the United States). As such, it makes sense for the studio to generate anticipation for its upcoming release by giving us a glimpse at the wall-crawler's upcoming adventure ahead of it.
This strategy has been used multiple times in the past by many studios. Perhaps the best example is when the four Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers were attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash, given that both projects are under the Disney umbrella.

A new issue of Empire Magazine focusing on Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be published on June 4, one day before the reported release date for the new trailer. Furthermore, new posters for the movie have made their way online, sharing new looks at the many villains set to steal the spotlight. Sony is seemingly starting a large promotional push for its upcoming superhero project, which was to be expected considering it will be released in just under two months.
To add more fuel to the fire, the second Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer has officially been rated in Canada, meaning that it will come our way soon, even if it is not on June 5. Furthermore, the footage will be 2 minutes and 36 seconds long, so it's safe to say there will be plenty of arachnid action coming our way.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day could be the return to form that the MCU needs. Projects like Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 have been praised by fans and critics alike. However, they weren't watched by many people around the world, as the movies failed to break even at the box office, while the Disney+ show's viewership dropped over 50% compared to Season 1. If there were a hero popular enough to turn the tides for the superhero giant, it would definitely be Spider-Man. That's why the character's upcoming film is bound to have a big marketing campaign, and it will all start with this new, upcoming trailer.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on Jul. 31, 2026.
