It's hard to believe that Agatha All Along has been on our TV screens for seven weeks. Marvel Television's most recent series has been three years in the making, bringing Kathryn Hahn back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the nefarious ancient witch Agatha Harkness. What makes it even more special is that it is a spinoff to Marvel Studios' original Disney Plus series WandaVision, so it had some pretty big witchy shoes to fill. To say that it has pulled it off would be a major understatement.

The show has definitely made the most of the fact that it's a TV series, producing episodic adventures each week based around the trials that Agatha and her coven encountered on the Witches' Road. It was like WandaVision in that way, and a wonderful return to form for the MCU TV shows. It was also a heck of a way to conclude what has been an incredible comeback year for Marvel Studios, carrying on from the overwhelming box office success of Deadpool and Wolverine.

But, in the words of Rio Vidal, "what happens next?". If you have finished your journey down the Witches' Road and would like to know when the next Marvel series comes to Disney Plus, we've got you covered!

What If...? season 3 is the next Marvel Television show

Ahead of the finale of Agatha All Along, Marvel Studios announced the line-up of TV shows that MCU fans could look forward to in the coming year, and it all begins with the third and final season of animated series What If...?. Much like the second season, it will stream new episodes throughout the holiday season, with the premiere launching just three days before Christmas, arriving on Disney Plus on December 22, 2024. A new episode will then release daily over the course of the holiday week.

Marvel Animation's What If...? season 3

Season 3 was produced alongside its predecessor, so it has been a long time coming; Marvel has just been waiting for the right moment to release it. Shortly after season 2 completed its festive run last year, speculation began to make its way around the internet about season 3, with rumors suggesting that it might be the last season. Unfortunately, Marvel confirmed as much during the Marvel Animation D23 panel.

The series is known for taking a unique spin on many of the events that play out in the MCU and season 3 is set to build upon those foundations, introducing beloved MCU characters such as Moon Knight, Monica Rambeau / Photon, Agatha Harkness, and Sam Wilson's Captain America.

Another animated series will come after that, with Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man arriving on January 29, 2025. If you're looking for the next live-action MCU show, however, here's what you need to know.

If you're waiting on the next small-screen chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's ongoing story, you can find that in Daredevil: Born Again. It's been a long time coming, and you won't have to wait too much longer for this one as it will premiere on March 4, 2025.

Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio both return to the roles of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk three years after they made their MCU debuts (which, ironically, came within a few days of each other in separate titles). Though originally envisioned as a new show set to focus on the MCU's version of the characters, Born Again was reimagined as a direct sequel series to Netflix's Daredevil series, meaning that we can expect that dark, gritty, and unnerving tone that the show was renowned for.

It's going to be even more exciting for fans of the Netflix series, as Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Jon Bernthal, and Ayelet Zurer will also reprise their respective roles of Karen Page, Foggy Nelson, The Punisher, and Vanessa Fisk. But now that those characters and their stories are all canon to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, how will they impact it and what is the inciting incident that kicks off the need for another show (you know, other than the fact that we've been asking for it for years).

The next year is going to be an exciting one for MCU fans!
