After watching Peter Parker wear Spider-Man costumes made by Tony Stark, infused with magic by Doctor Strange, or designed by Nick Fury as part of an undercover mission, Spider-Man: No Way Home concluded with the teenager going back to basics and crafting a new look with only the resources he had at hand. Fans considered this to be the perfect way to end an exhilarating and unforgettable multiversal adventure. Better yet, the wall-crawler's latest homemade suit is simply stunning (perhaps one of the best made in live-action). As such, fans wondered if it would be part of the hero's next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be all about a new start for Peter Parker. With that in mind, it wasn't surprising to learn that the movie will feature a new costume. However, the small glimpse we got of it during the first day of filming made us all hopeful that it wouldn't alter too many elements from its predecessor. Now, we finally have our first complete look at it, and it's nothing but beautiful.
Our first look at Spidey's new suit in Brand New Day is here
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day marketing train is already on its way, and there's no stopping it. A quick clip of Tom Holland sporting a new superhero look was recently released online, and it's everything we could've hoped for. For starters, it's very similar to the costume seen at the end of No Way Home, except the spider logo is larger, it has completely different web-shooters, and now it features a honeycomb pattern all over it (much like Tobey Maguire's suit in Sam Raimi's saga).

Unfortunately, we have yet to learn what Peter's mask will look like, or whether it will keep using the "expressive lenses" that have been a staple of the MCU. On the bright side, our days of living in the dark might be numbered. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently filming a big set piece on the streets of Glasgow, and Tom Holland's stunt double was spotted there rehearsing a scene. Chances are, the wall crawler himself will make an appearance in costume, and set photos will showcase the mask.
This is just the latest in an exciting series of reveals regarding Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The announcements began when it was confirmed that Jon Bernthal's Punisher is set to have a role in the movie. Then, it was revealed that Scorpion will be one of the villains, and set photos gave away that the Inner Demons will also join the party (which all but confirms that Mister Negative's debut is imminent). Finally, Mark Ruffalo will also return as the Hulk, which will mark his first MCU appearance since She-Hulk: Attorney at Law back in 2022.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton is crafting an ambitious superhero movie featuring characters from all corners of the MCU. With a bit of luck, he'll be able to avoid the curse of over-crowded Spider-Man movies, such as Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Fortunately, it won't be long before we discover what Tom Holland's Peter Parker has been up to since the whole world forgot his identity.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on Jul. 31, 2026.
