You often hear the phrase "anime is for children". Yeah, NOT THIS ONE.

**THE VIDEOS USED IN THIS ARTICLE ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR CHILDREN.**

Now that I got that out of the way - welcome to the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, where slicing and dicing demons isn't just a hobby; it's a way of life!

This isn't your average slice-of-life anime. It's a high-octane, emotionally charged wild ride that takes you through the beautiful yet often brutal landscapes of Taisho-era Japan. At the heart of this epic saga is Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose charm is only matched by his unwavering determination. After demons crash his life party, turning his sister into one of their own and leaving a trail of tragedy, he does what any loving brother would do: picks up a sword and vows to turn his sister back into a human and kick some serious demon ass along the way.

But what's a hero without a quirky band of comrades? Enter Zenitsu, a blonde bundle of nerves with a heart of gold and a scream that could shatter glass, and Inosuke, a wild boar-headed warrior with muscles for brains and an ego to match, yet undeniably lovable and owner of an absolutely gorgeous face under the mask. Together, they form a trio that's as dysfunctional as they are endearing, battling their way through demons with powers so bizarre, you'd think they were plucked from a fever dream. And let's not forget the Hashira, the elite squad of demon slayers who are so cool, they make ice cubes jealous. Each brings their own flavor to the fight, from the stoic Giyu to the fiery king Rengoku, proving that when it comes to demon-slaying, variety really is the spice of life.

However, not all characters get to bask in the glow of fan adoration. Take Muzan Kibutsuji, the impeccably dressed embodiment of evil whose very presence sends shivers down your spine. He's like that one party guest who not only crashes your party but also decides to redecorate your living room in a new shade of Nightmare Red. And don't get me started on some of the lower-ranked demons and their twisted, heart-breaking backstories that make you want to hate them but... also kind of want to give them a hug.

But hey, that's the beauty of Demon Slayer – it serves up a complex buffet of characters that challenge your emotions, making you cheer, cry, and occasionally want to throw your remote at the screen. While we anxiously wait for its 4th arc - the Hashira Training - to arrive, you can check out my exclusive coverage on the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - To the Hashira Training movie World Tour which I was honored to be invited to attend (don't worry - I kept it 100% spoiler-free). And I suppose we can also talk about those characters we love to hate.

Let's look at 13 in particular. And, once again - DEMON SLAYER IS NOT FOR CHILDREN, AND NEITHER ARE THE VIDEOS INCLUDED IN THIS ARTICLE. Also, BEWARE OF SPOILERS IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGHT UP ON THE ANIME.
