Yoda is among the most recognized characters in the Star Wars franchise. When The Empire Strikes Back debuted, the way Yoda spoke was weird. Decades later, jokes and memes continue to be made because of it. Not just because it's funny. it’s become iconic.
Despite not physically training Luke Skywalker, old-school martial arts movie fans could tell he was the right one for the job. If you were a fan of old-school martial arts movies, you knew not to underestimate Yoda. There's always more to fighting masters even when they appear old or feeble. Just look at Pai Mei in Kill Bill. Despite being elderly, he was still spry and skilled.
When the prequels were released, fans witnessed Yoda's greatness. He wasn’t just masterful with his lightsaber. The things he could do physically were unbelievable. The good thing is Disney Plus is always available to prove that his legend is real.
Without seeing it, it’s hard to believe that little old man could bounce around and fight back against the Empire. Thankfully, viewers have the opportunity to go back and watch Clone Wars and Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones on Disney Plus. You may have seen people like him, but there’s only one Yoda.
