T’Challa’s first appearance came in Captain America: Civil War and joined a movie packed with established superheroes. In that appearance, he had to share a screen with Spider-Man. A character fans had been waiting to see in the MCU. Despite the odds, Chadwick Boseman shined as T’Challa. That led to his starring role in Black Panther.
Black Panther was an important movie. It was the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie with an almost all-Black cast. That includes some of the writers and directors. However, that is only possible with the amazing performance and presence of Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick Boseman’s shocked the world. He was one of the most beloved people to grace a movie screen. His involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was only part of what made him great. That small part was big to a lot of people. It’s one of the reasons Marvel made a point of highlighting it in the Marvel opening credits. They knew what it would mean to his fans and loved ones.
Thankfully, all of Chadwick Boseman’s Marvel moments are on Disney Plus. While he may be gone, fans always have the option of watching his projects and reliving his groundbreaking moments.
