8. Darth Vader

There is a big difference between Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker. Anakin was still coming into his own and wasn’t sure if he wanted to fight the Dark Side or be part of it. In the end, fans saw what he chose. Anakin became one of the scariest people in the galaxy. Maybe in all of cinema. Darth was the driving force behind Star Wars' popularity. Han Solo was cool and Luke was the hero, but Darth was the one everyone wanted to see.

Looking back at the Star Wars episodes 5-6, Vader’s moves aren’t as fluid and vicious as in the 1980s. Nevertheless, it wasn’t just the Lightsaber. Everything else about Vader was intimidating. He could choke someone from across the room, his voice was scary, and he had an army of Stormtroopers and a space fleet in his command. There was also his look. The helmet is still iconic and the all-black suit on top of his size completed the package.

We haven’t seen the last of Darth Vader on Disney Plus. His time in Marvel Comics has shown that fans (new and old) still love him. With the advancement of movie technology, his stories and action scenes will look better than ever.
